Either one will work just fine.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with a weird desire for one of these!

Finally, someone who agrees! If I had the money, I wish I could find either of them.

give me that '78 and I would love to swap in a 3800 v6 and 5spd from a F-body. Build the 3.8 and slap on a turbo.. giggity!

I've got a friend who just rebuilt a Buick Skyhawk with a 350 in it. Crazy car!

I know, right? One day, I dream of importing one to the States, if possible.

Is it pathetic that I don't 100% hate that?

YES. WANT.

Here's the whole story on the car. Was pretty famous in the 70s.

Well if you're looking for something that's a step up in luxury from a Cavalier but you're not quite ready for the opulence of a Cimarron, it's just the thing.

haha right!

"Opulence". Lol. Yeah, for sure.

Sweet! I'll have to read it when I get out of school.

Looks like the FWD version of the Monza
![]() 01/23/2015 at 14:18 |

Which one? The Vauxhall Firenza? It was also RWD, and was pretty successful in racing
![]() 01/23/2015 at 16:12 |

Oh i thought it was the Olds version and i think that was FWD only.

Oh, you mean the Olds! Nope, that is the Starfire Firenza. Not really based on the Vauxhall Firenza in any way. Think of it as the Oldsmobile cousin of the Monza Spyder. It was never FWD. It was RWD 'till its death in 1980.
